Intermediate Cup, an out-of-sorts Globetown found West Ten
(Sportsman) in scintillating form and crumbled to defeat. This
week sees a few of our other Senior Division representatives
open their accounts in the Essex Sunday Premier Cup. No match is
easy in county competition but I am sure you will join me in
wishing them all well.
The new season has
started and we wish all the clubs taking part,
the very best of luck for a successful 2007-2008.

The ESFC fully supports any
sanction handed out to proven cases of racial or personal
abuse to ANY individual within the confines of the league.
This information will also be passed
to our friends in the others leagues in the area in line
with our collective policy of making sure this element is
not welcomed in local football.

Hints to Club Secretaries
Please get your ESFC Result
Card in on time
Make sure your sheets are filled in correctly
and the referee's analysis is included.
Please make sure you attend
all league meetings
Please ensure you adhere, properly, to the
new rule on signing new players. Refer to the Handbook for
the procedure. Failure to comply could result, not only in
the loss of points earned, but further sanctions too.
The Home team must contact
their opposition and referee for the following weekend by
8.30pm on the Wednesday preceding the game. Failure to do
so could result in the loss of the game or the match
referee.
Attitude starts at home, leave home with the
right one and go out and enjoy your game.
As you may or may not
know, the Referee season runs from March 1st to the end of
the following February.
With that in mind, we have
changed our marking analysis to fall in line with the
requirements of the Essex County Football Association.
