Now that the dust has settled after a tense cup final, Highgrove United will look back with some satisfaction on a job well done.
Not that it was easy of course. South Ilford Catholics arrived at the final with high hopes of retaining the cup and held the lead until two minutes from the end of added time.
But Highgrove were in the ascendancy and finally got the killer goal in the extra period.
South Ilford showed their class at the end of a disappointing day for them by lining up to congratulate the victors.
